Attitude: Some Westerners Just Do Not Get It

We all learn a way of doing things, a way of seeing. Some cultures treat this as the way, i.e., the only or correct way. Some cultures treat it differently, as a way, i.e., other ways exist. Learning to look at your way as a way, not the way, is the first step to cross-culture success.

Most Europeans are multi-culture people, most Americans, Canadians and Australians are not. Not on purpose, but because they come from a one-culture background.
