No, it's not different languages Chinese is one of the hardest languages to learn. But why should this be a problem? Working with a translator in Chinese is frustrating, yes, but no more so than in Thai, Korean or Arabic. If you can succeed there, why not in Chinese? Chinese truly embrace English as their second language, and most communication will be in English. Moreover, Chinese tend to use English well, with good pronunciation and vocabulary, and only minor grammar errors. Maybe it's not "different languages" that is the problem, but more that neither side knows how to follow, or respect, the other person's way of using language. Try again ... |
