More detailed information about teaching logic (what and why) in Chinese Asia will be available soon. If you want information right away either look at the Logical Thinking and Communication PDF brochures available on the downloads link on the parent site.

Or you can email me for more information at:

First, what type of logic am I talking about? A form of argument logic, primarily the concepts of information clarity and quality (relevance and acceptability), and the idea of sufficiency (adding enough information to prove a conclusion, or to achieve any communication goal). I teach nothing to do with syllogisms, Aristotle, modus pones or, gasp, truth tables.

To those who ask why I'm teaching "Western" logic to the Chinese, logic is (in my opinion) not "Western" but more a universal skill. Yes, logic was first developed by Westerners, from Aristotle through Descartes, but as with any idea, skill or process, once developed it is open to any who wish to use it. Eating with chopsticks may be a Chinese invention, but that hasn't stopped me from learning how to pick up three peanuts at a time with mine. (It has to be the right chopsticks, and the right peanuts, and a few beer helps too. GB.)
